The book is currently available for sale at the Paw Paw Museum on Port Deposit, Md.
The first Port Deposit Heritage Cookbook was published in 1976 followed by a second edition in 1979. This third edition includes both new recipes and recipes from the previous two editions.
There are over 500 recipes in this book plus sketches and brief histories of area landmarks serving as chapter dividers. The recipe contributors are named along with the original date of the recipe contribution.
A notable number of appetizers and breads. Limited vegetables. No index. Some recipes have interesting names (Second Royal Mystery Cake, Billy Boy Cookies) and origin stories included.
