Favorite Recipes from Our Best Cooks: Welcome Wagon Club of Fairfield and Easton, Inc 1979
A little internet sleuthing tells me that Fairfield is a county in Connecticut and Easton is a town in that county. A version of the club, the Welcome Club, still seems to be in existence.
My book had a little note on the inside cover which is always fun to see.
There was also a card with a recipe from Kathy Johnson for Layer Together Cake tucked inside which was another nice little bonus.
The cover is just a stock image as is all of the generic material and pictures in the front and on the dividers. The contributors are named.
The recipes are mostly on the short side including Joan Boland’s California Beef Quickie and Sany Connolly’s Pork Chops and Amber Rice.
Delena Law-Smith contributed a Bulgogi (A Super Korean Dish) with some helpful tips–2 tsp sesame oil (not absolutely necessary but better with it) and a Bean Sprouts recipe to go with it.
