Family Fixin’s, complied by Family Housing Staff 1979 (location unknown)
This one is a little mysterious. It thanks the residents of Family Housing for contributing recipes and putting together the cookbook but no clue as to where they were located at all. I get the vague impression it wasn’t a fundraising book but given out to residents but I have no real idea.
It’s a solid little book. Not a massive amount of recipes, just one on each page, but a good variety. There are some craft recipes as well. The section dividers are all illustrated.
There are some helpful tips about cooking with frozen vegetables and seasoning suggestions.
Most of the recipes are not credited by name but a few like Ham Noodles (Germany) by Lisa Dunning J-207 have a name and a number. A room number? An address? An employee code? I can only guess.
